Topfaith University Nursing Science Department Approved by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has commended Topfaith University for its exemplary commitment to training student nurses and for providing ample manpower and resources to foster the growth of the Department and equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and clinical experience essential for their roles in the healthcare sector.

The commendation is contained in a report of the Council after its Advisory & Resource Verification visit to the institution in October 2023.

The report signed by the Registrar/COE of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria recognized Topfaith University's investment in faculty development and infrastructure, a development she said, reflects its commitment to excellence in nursing education.

In light of the commendable efforts demonstrated by the University, the Council approved an annual intake of 100 students for the Department of Nursing Sciences at the university.

This approval underscores the confidence placed in Topfaith University's ability to effectively train and produce competent nursing professionals capable of meeting the healthcare needs of the nation.

Receiving the report, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patrick J. Ebewo of Topfaith University, expressed the university's continued commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing education. He also extends his gratitude to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for its recognition and support and reaffirms its dedication to excellence in nursing education and practice. He therefore calls on all qualified candidates to take advantage of this development.
