Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the application of biological principles and techniques in the development of new products and processes. Students will learn how to use genetic engineering, cell culture, and other biotechnology techniques to solve problems in areas such as agriculture, medicine, and environmental science. The programme includes core courses in areas such as biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, and genetics, as well as elective courses in areas such as bioprocess engineering, biopharmaceuticals, and bioinformatics.
